False Positive Free
Most web application security scanners report false-positives, which means they identify vulnerabilities that don't actually exist. This is because certain types of vulnerabilities do not have a consistent signature that can be reliably recognized by an automated scanning tool. In a large application, this can mean huge amounts of manual follow-up work for the person tasked with verifying the reported vulnerabilities.
To eliminate the chore of false positives, Netsparker has been designed, from the ground up, to go beyond what other scanners do and actively confirm whether vulnerabilities are real. By dynamically executing custom attacks to exploit suspected vulnerabilities in a safe and non-destructive manner, Netsparker is usually able to conclusively prove when a suspected vulnerability is real.
If Netsparker is unable to absolutely confirm a vulnerability, it will be marked as [Possible], which indicates that it requires manual verification. But, if Netsparker marks a vulnerability as confirmed, you can trust it. The result: no false positives.
